Our Team

The people, standards, and process behind every VacuumTested rating.

Who runs VacuumTested

VacuumTested is produced by a small independent editorial team focused on US-market robot vacuums. We are not part of any manufacturer, retailer, or agency, and we do not accept free review units or payments that influence coverage. Editor profiles will be added here as the team grows; every review follows the same public methodology and corrections policy.

What the team does

Research every tier from flagship to budget across Roborock, Dreame, Eufy, and Yeedi.
Score each model on our published seven-dimension rubric.
Verify manufacturer claims against independent testing data and long-term owner reports.
Update prices and re-check rankings on a regular cadence.

Editorial independence

Our ratings are independent of any brand relationships. We do not accept free review units or payments that influence coverage, and corrections are published. Read our Editorial Guidelines and How We Test pages for the full process.

Frequently asked questions

Who writes VacuumTested reviews?

A small editorial team that applies one published rubric across the whole catalog. We do not invent individual author personas or fake credentials, because fabricated expertise is the fastest way to destroy trust in a review site.

Do your writers own the products they review?

We combine manufacturer specifications, publicly available third-party data, and long-term owner feedback rather than claiming hands-on ownership of every model. Where we have no independent measurement, the page says so.

Can I contact the editorial team?

Yes. Use the contact page for corrections, methodology questions, and disclosure requests. We would rather publish a correction than leave an error standing.
