What Information We Collect

VacuumTested does not collect personal information directly. We do not have user accounts, comment systems, or newsletter signup forms (yet). When we add these features, this policy will be updated.

Cookies and Third-Party Services

Amazon Affiliate Links

When you click an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon may place cookies on your device to track the referral. These cookies are governed by Amazon's Privacy Notice, not ours.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site (page views, referrers, device types). You can opt out by rejecting cookies in the banner or by managing your browser settings.

Monetization

VacuumTested is currently funded by affiliate links through the Amazon Associates program, managed via PartnerBoost. We do not currently serve display advertising, including Google AdSense.

If we add advertising or other third-party ad networks in the future, we will update this policy and load advertising cookies only after your consent where required by law.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

Children's Privacy

VacuumTested is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If our data collection practices change, we will update this policy and note the change date.

Frequently asked questions

Do you sell my personal data?
No. We do not sell personal information. The site uses aggregate analytics to understand which pages and models people read, and affiliate links may set cookies belonging to the retailer, governed by that retailer's own privacy policy.
What analytics does the site use?
Google Analytics 4, which records aggregate usage such as page views and outbound affiliate clicks. You can decline non-essential measurement through the cookie banner, and declining stops affiliate click events from being sent.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Use the contact page. We hold no account data, so requests normally concern analytics data, which is retained in aggregate by Google Analytics under its own retention settings.
